Wondwossen
G/Yesus (Wonde for short) is the Technical Projects Co-ordinator.
In this position, he is responsible in making sure the activities
at each project site are run according to the values, mission
and vision of the organization. He is also responsible in
training the counsellors, equipping them in a way that would
enhance their potential and gifts. In short, he is a key
worker in replicating and contextualising the work values
and strategies of Ellilta - Women at Risk. He is also responsible
in the design and organization of our advocacy and educational
work that we hope to start in the near future.
Wonde is totally committed to what he does and has a huge
heart for the girls. Though he hasn't had any formal training
as a counsellor, he is such a gifted and insightful man.
Life experence as an ex-naval officer, having been through
poverty himself, added to his love for books, has contributed
greatly to his knowledge and understanding of people and
society.
Wonde is married and a father of three daughters.
